Jet Ski Rental
Riverwalk Watersports offers Yamaha jet ski rentals to Wilmington, NC area visitors and locals. All of our jet skis are serviced and maintained to the highest standards and undergo daily safety and mechanical inspections. We cater to both first-time and experienced riders and provide an in-depth safety and operating orientation prior to the start of all rentals. All of our jet skis seat up to 3 people or max load capacity of 500 pounds. Life vests for all ages and sizes are provided to each customer and must be worn during operation of the jet ski.
We offer the largest riding area of any jet ski rental company in southeastern North Carolina. Our riding area on the Cape Fear River is a natural playground for jet ski use without the busy boat traffic and hazards of the intracoastal waterway used by our competitors.
Rates: $89/hour (inclusive of taxes and fuel) Our one hour rentals are the most popular reservation option we offer, although we can also provide half hour rentals for $59 and two hour rentals for $149. If you are interested in a multi-hour private guided tour of the beautiful Cape Fear River and the waterways surrounding Wilmington, then please give us a call for more information.
Reservations: A major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, or Discover) is required to make a reservation online. The credit card used for the reservation and a current form of identification (driver’s license, passport, or state ID card) must be presented at the time of rental and will be held as security deposit throughout the duration of the rental period by our staff. We do accept cash payment for rental costs, although a credit card is still required to be held on file for the security deposit. All renters and operators must be at least 18 years of age in order to sign waivers and releases.
Cancellation: We require 48 hours notice to cancel a reservation. Cancellations after the 48 hour deadline are non-refundable. However, a full refund is provided for cancellation due to inclement weather. We make every attempt to accommodate our clients needs and to reschedule reservations that are cancelled for weather reasons.
Orientation: Every operator will be given a thorough orientation on safe jet ski operation. State and local laws and regulations will be explained. It is the responsibility of the operator to listen and understand instructions and request further explanation if he/she has any questions concerning operation of the jet ski.
Damage: The “renter” (the person who signs the paperwork) is responsible for any physical or bodily damage that occurs while the jet ski is being operated under the terms of the rental agreement. All of our jet skis are inspected at the end of each rental period. Damage caused during jet ski use will be at the renter’s expense as detailed in the rental agreement.
